Did you know that Helios is my boyfriend? (Ssshhh... don't tell my actual boyfriend...)
But it's true. That giant Solar Entity? That Central Star of our Solar System?
We're a 'thing'.
He came to me in a dream a few years back... and ever since, we've been thick as thieves. And why not? I mean, he really is just about everything one could ask for in a lover.
He's always there for me, always consistent, always has my back. And he fills me with the most DIVINE radiant light imaginable. Totally SWOONWORTHY!
And the best part? The love is completely 100% unconditional. Now that's what I call a great relationship.
He's not the most monogamous of companions, however. In fact, that brilliant solar force is there for every single one of us. No matter who we are, Helios will be our best friend, our ultimate lover, our brilliant and unending companion, our greatest cheerleader, and our infinite source of radiant power. You just have to tap in, and it's available. It's one of the amazing secrets of our Solar System! Why look to get 'power' from other people when this unbelievable source is there, 27/7?
Well, RIGHT NOW we are invited to celebrate our larger than life solar archetype of PURE, UNDYING AND ENDLESSLY POWERFUL LOVE! Now is a time to stop for a minute, bask in the Sun's light, and feel the gratitude of life fill your bones.
At 3pm EST on Thursday January 27th, the Sun at 9 degrees of Aquarius will oppose the Moon in Leo, shedding LIGHT on that force of energy and beauty and radiance that fuels us all.

Aside from being a great day to feel FILLED WITH LIGHT, the astrology of the moment is rather complex.

1. Uranus/Mars in Taurus square Saturn/Jupiter/Sun in Aquarius
As we move into a new Collective Vision for our culture (Saturn conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius), we are negotiating our ability to bring our unique personal values to the table (square Uranus in Taurus).
Each of us wants to survive on this planet, after all. And we need to make sure that the Collective reality we are building is accountable to ALL of us, not just a few... and also not just the 'whole'! This is a complex reality we live in, after all. Each one of us matters.
Furthermore, Uranus in Taurus is bringing a radically NEW level of values to the table! Liberating the old ways that we've related to earth and money, to resources, and to our own bodies... this higher impulse is helping us find a new ground upon which to stand, in the wake of collective change during our cultural shift from 'earth' to 'air'.
The invitation of this square, the predominant 2021 theme, is to listen DEEPLY to what matters to YOU, anchoring into your own ultimate worthiness and value, as a cosmic being and a holder of light. Uranus is intuitive electromagnetic mind field radiance - always inviting us into higher archetypal form and new ways of being. But simultaneously, we need to hold the collective in our hearts and minds. To realize that we are all part of this together, and sometimes we have to let go of the personal and allow the greater good to prevail. It's not EITHER OR, it's BOTH AND.
2. Neptune square the South Node Sagittarius and North Node Gemini
When we are busy trying to RIGHT, we forget to listen and open up to the possibility of more. This plays out at all levels of reality - from the political to the bedroom. Right now, thanks to Neptune's grace, we are asked to notice that being open minded can bring a whole lot more 'information' than may initially seem at hand. If we are able to stop time and really listen, we may realize that 'reality' itself is an awakened and magical entity that is constantly offering us realizations, communication and gifts.
To STOP THE MADNESS, cease the noise, and really RECEIVE? That's an invitation at the moment. First step? TURN OFF THE TV!!!!
3. Pluto conjunct Venus in Capricorn
Love the skin you're in!!! Love the places you've been and the journey you've taken, these past 12 months. You have the opportunity to feel PROUD of yourself right now - and to amplify that love outward to all of us.
There is NO shame in your past, there is no shame in anything. Truly. We are all learning, growing and expanding. Pluto on Venus asks us to anchor into our integrity RIGHT NOW, knowing that it is that alignment that will determine our future.
You can take responsibility for your life, your love and your alignment. From this moment forward. Celebrate all the ways you do this, and all the ways you will.
Future:
Mercury crosses into retrograde in a few days time, on the 30th. Always a wonderful few weeks, Mercury retrograde offers us a chance to take stock of our progress and to re-balance ourselves internally. Going slow is the way to survive and thrive in a Mercury Retrograde cycle. Journaling, contemplation and receptivity can help things run more smoothly.
