Honestly- I sometimes wish that relationships were easier. But as a card carrying member of the Pluto in Libra generation, it seems my lot is to piece through this archetype, and the whole mess that relationships present, with a fine tooth comb.
(For the curious, the Pluto in Libra generation began in Libra season (Oct 6) of 1971 and lasted until Scorpio season of 1983 (Nov 6). It marks a generation of fair folk, the 'gen xrs' mainly, whose collective Raison d'être is to understand the underworld psycho-dynamics of co-dependency. Gulp.)
I have 2 reasons for writing today.
First is to announce the next Archetypal Reel class on Libra, this coming Sunday.
Second is to announce a series I will be running, through October, called MOON BITES.
On a superficial level (which Libra loves, due to zero need for commitment and the unlikelihood of conflict), this archetype is about elevated repartee, social cohesion, elegance, beauty, symmetry and equity. Libra may appear as the quintessential garden party hostess, the savvy behind-the-scenes political polymath, the hapless co-dependent, the sophisticated designer, or the passionate advocate for the dis-advantaged. Whatever the case, Libra naturally references reality through the 'world outside', in a sophisticated process of consideration, calculation and manipulation of the spaces that BIND.
On Sunday night we will go deep into this archetype, at my monthly Archetype Reel class. For 2 hours, we will explore Libra through the Mythological, Evolutionary, Esoteric and Shamanic astrological lenses. For those who can't attend, replays will be shared. If you plan to come and know you have distinctive Libra chart dynamics that might be interesting to talk, please email me birth details at saraeliseastrology@gmail.com.
Link to register here. You will receive a zoom invitation about 30 minutes before our class on Sunday at 5pm EST.

For a take 'all my own', I offer a 25 min video describing two energetic/mystical experiences I had within this archetypal framework. Take it or leave it, the essence of what I've learned about Libra/Relationship comes down to one fairly simple principle:
Know thyself as whole, to meet wholeness in another.
And until then? It's a shit show.
And NOW! My special announcement!
I have recently partnered up with my friend Graydon Moffat, the owner of a delicious line of luxurious vegan organic skin care products that I am absolutely in love with. (And no, there is no 'affiliate thing' going on here. I seriously LOVE her products!)
With the emphasis on luxurious, this Libran lady is one talented alchemist who is devoted to self care and all things natural. She and I are partnering up Libra Style for a small series of 4 noon-time conversations called MOON BITES, wherein we will talk about the lunar cycle of October and how to harness its energy to amplify ones self care ritual.
It is free, and if you would like to sign up for that, please go here (and notice how lovely her website is... TOTALLY Libran)

Last but not least, I would love to share with you a song that speaks succinctly to the highest form of Libran Relationship excellence, called "I am a Light", by Canadian singer, Sarah Sleen. Sarah has North Node conjunct Pluto in Libra, and the lyrics to this song have always stood out to me as epitomizing the potential perfection of the relationship dynamic:
all are deserving of
this love so great great great
it's inexhaustible
so give it all away
and don't ask anymore
what is my way way way?
you are a miracle
so let it play play play
I am a light
there is no hurry now
I take it slow - ow - ow
I don't need anything
I am the one I love
but it's hilarious
'cause all the while-ile-ile
all I can dream about
is how to make you smile
I am a light
the source of everything
is in our eye-eye-eyes
I see the good in yours
seeing the good in mine
I am a light
Blessings, dear friends.
Sara.
